Booking an urgent appointment
If you feel you need to see a doctor urgently please phone as early as possible as appointments on the day will be given on a first come, first served basis.
Please make the Receptionist aware that you feel the problem is urgent – you may be asked to speak to a GP before being offered an appointment to triage the urgency of the call.
MyHealthcare appointments – Extended Access
We are part of MyHealthcare Federation and this means we have direct access into their Extended Access HUBs offered at Practices close by. This allows us to offer direct bookings with a GP at one of the HUBs for a telephone consultation or a face to face appointment. This is of benefit to you as the patient as you have an allocated appointment time (unlike a wait at a Walk-In Centre) and the Practice will be able to access your medical records if you consent for them to do so to ensure you have a safe and comprehensive service. The consultation notes will then be accessible to your regular GP here at Bournbrook so that we can follow your care pathway fully. These appointments are available evenings and weekends for a wider choice of appointment times. You can book into these appointments with the Birmingham and Solihull Health App if you have signed up to this service (BSOL App)
