Our Practice offers two methods for booking appointments, requesting medications and  viewing your medical records online; Birmingham & Solihull Health App (formally MyHealthcare App) and Patient Access. Birmingham & Solihull Health App (BSOL App) – You will need to sign up to this service.

The BSOL app will allow you to book and manage your appointments, access your medical records, and manage your medication – all online, safely and securely. Using your app is easy and simple.

Book and manage your GP appointments 24/7, wherever you are. You can book appointments here at the Practice or at one of our local Hub sites (Riverbrook Medical Centre, Harborne Medical Centre, West Heath Medical Centre or Fernley Medical Centre). Fast, convenient and completely confidential.

You will have instant and secure access to your medical records. See your latest test results, monitor any changes and much more. This is available 24/7 wherever you are, on desktop, tablet or mobile devices.

It has a quick and hassle-free repeat prescription service. Full details on how and when to take your medication. No more unnecessary trips to the surgery to order your prescriptions.

We take your data security very seriously. Our app uses a two-step verification and encryption process, to ensure your data is always safe and secure. You’ll be in full control of your data – and we’d never share it without your consent.

It is quick and easy to get an account. You can sign up online at: app.birminghamandsolihullhealthapp.com. You will need to bring in 2 forms of ID to gain full access to the app, without this you will only be able to book appointments. Please bring your ID to reception and we will quickly fully activate your account.


Patient Online Access – You will need to sign up to use this service.

Patient Online Access will enable you to book and cancel appointments online, order repeat medications, view test results, view immunisation history and has the function for you to view coded data.

If you would like to sign up for this service please visit the Patient Access website and complete the online registration.

Remember you must bring in two forms of ID (passport, driving licence, birth certificate, marriage certificate, bank statement(dated in the last 3 months)). You will only have limited use of the service until we have verified your ID.

You can sign up to one or both of these digital services – remember we do need to see 2 forms of your ID.

Once we have verified your ID we endeavor to have your accounts fully active within 7 days. If your account is still restricted after 7 working days of presenting your ID please contact us on 0121 472 0129.

Please be aware that the My Healthcare App has now changed to the Birmingham & Solihull Health App (BSOL App). If you have already signed up to the My Healthcare App your log in details will be the same for the new BSOL App.
