Children's flu vaccine

The majority of children will be offered the nasal spray vaccine. This spray has a small amount of porcine gelatine within it, if you wish for your child to receive a vaccine without this content there is the option to ask for an injection instead, other children with certain health conditions such as a weakened immune system may also require the injection alternative.
